EVE Online - Data and Relic Sites 3/3

In this post we will see:

- Scatter Containers.
- The rewards of the Relic and Data Sites.
- Examples of ways to win the mini-game.

Scatter Containers:
- Once you kill the system core, the mini-game window closes, and from the in-space entity will spawn many mini-containers in all directions, they will disappear after a few seconds, blinking.
- Green icon means that can be insta-tractored (<500m), Yellow means that the container is in range (<3000m) of the onboard tractor beam, White means that is out of range (>3000m), you will have to approach quick!
- Materials Container -> Salvage parts (relics), Construction parts or datacores (data).
- Parts Container -> Salvage parts (relics), Construction parts or data cores (data).
- Data Container -> BPCs, skill books, or data sheets.
- Equipment Container -> Hidrogen Batteries, Electronics Parts, etc (low value).
- Scraps Container -> Metal Scraps and shit.

Rewards:
- Can vary from 20m to 150m, if you harvest all the cans and all the in-space entities.
- Ruined Blood Raider Crystal Quarry -> 125M in salvage items

EVE Online - Data and Relic Sites 2/3

Hi again, in this post we will see:

How works the new mini-game for relic and data sites.
Which tools can you use yo win, and the things that make you lose.

When you use a Data Analyzer or Relic Analyzer you see:

Let's explain the icons that you can find:

The objective is navigate through the unknown nodes to find the core.

While you do it you'll find utility bonus
and defensive nodes.

When you click a utility node it will go to the Utility spaces (3 max).

When you click a Defensive node means that you attack it.

Mechanic:
- You have life (virus coherence) and damage power (virus strength), and they can be modified by the ship you fly, the skills, implants and if you are using the tech1 or tech2 modules.

Attacking:
- When you attack a defensive node or the core, you will hit their coherence (life) with your strength (damage power), IF you don't kill it will hit you with their strength to you coherence (life).
- That means that the final hit won't hit you.

Tips:
- Move near the borders, the system cores usually are in borders and on the other sides of the node map.
LOL Exception , that image makes me think that the spawn is completely random.

- Do not attack any defensive node if you have 'Unknown Nodes' available, you can find the core in any location. (except Restoration and Suppressor Nodes).

- Leave the data caches for the end of game, can contain anything (except the core)

- Use the bonus wisely.
- Polymorphic Shield can be used in two different defensive nodes.
- You will never need a Salvager Module.

Utility bonus: click they in the bottom of the mini-game window to activate

Secondary Vector: Like a ignite, will hit a defensive node 3 times while yo click other nodes.

Polymorphic Shield: gives you 2 free attacks without getting any damage.

Kernel Root: halves the objective coherence (life) at 50%, 1 use

Self-Repair: repairs 3 times your coherence (life)

Defensive Nodes: the number on top of the icon is their coherence (life), and bot is the strength (the hard it will hit you if he don't die).

Antivirus: low life (coherence) but highest strength, care attacking it.

Firewall: normal defensive node.

Suppresor: This will lower your virus strength (damage power) (PRIMARY)

Restoration: Repairs Defensive Nodes (their life, or coherence) (PRIMARY)

Core Types:

Easy Core: if is a easy mini-game, break or attack him to win
Usually have firewalls and antivirus.

Medium Core: if is a medium mini-game, break or attack him to win
Antivirus, firewalls and restoration.

Hard Core: if is a hard mini-game, break or attack him to win
All types of defensive nodes.

EVE Online - Data and Relic Sites 1/3

In this post we are going to explain deeply how works the relic and the data sites of the game EVE Online.

Note: You have to scan the cosmic signatures first, to see how to, look this.

Keys:

- Previously, this sites had other names,  radar (now data sites) and magnetometric (now relic sites)

- You can find relics and data anywhere, high, low and null sec, also at w-space.

- This sites are only guarded in w-space, so you only need a unarmed cov.ops. in k-space.

- The sites will remain until the last container is hacked or analyzed.

- Is possible to see what contains a container with the Cargo Scanner before try to break it.

- Each Container have 2 trys before it self-destructs, and 1 single player can access it at the same time.

- Relic Sites mostly have salvage materials T1/T2 and some times bpc and skills (Low cargohold needed).

- Radar Sites usually have bpcs for invention tools, components to manufacture it and faction bpcs (like a faction control tower or module bpc) (High cargohold needed).

Next post will treat about how to do the mini-game, loot, etc.

Starmade, let's make curves!!!

Hi there!! I have found two webs where both minecraft and starmade players can pick instructions to create
perfect pixel circles, spheres, cones, ovals, domes, etc.

Originally was intended to Minecraft but can be applied to Starmade ships/stations
